Halloween Trick or Treat Trail

2026 Downtown Trick or Treat

The 19th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat Spooktacular takes place Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in downtown Armstrong. Treats are handed out throughout downtown Armstrong and at participating businesses in Armstrong’s commercial area. Children 12 and under in costume are invited to join the fun. Look for black and orange balloons at participating businesses. We’ll post the list of participating businesses on Thursday, October 29.

See the 2026 event details and business participation information. Businesses in Armstrong’s commercial area can contact Rhonda at rhonda@aschamber.com or (250) 546-8155 to participate.

About the trail

The Halloween Trick or Treat Trail turns downtown Armstrong into a safe, friendly Halloween route for kids and families. The trail has run since 2007. Participating businesses welcome trick-or-treaters during set hours on October 31, handing out candy and treats from their storefronts. Balloons mark every participating business.

The event gives families a walkable, weather-friendly alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, and gives downtown businesses a chance to meet their neighbours in costume.
